2015-16 is such a special year in the history of the Five Towns Quiz League, it's our 25th season!  We have 16 teams currently, in two divisions of eight teams each, but we are always looking to expand and what better time for you to join than our 25th celebration season!

New teams start in Division Two and earn a place in Division One on merit but who's to say that after that you won't be the new Champions of the Five Towns Quiz League...

If you are a team from the general area of Pontefract, Castleford, Knottingley/Ferrybridge, Featherstone or Normanton/Altofts or just marginally beyond (or just a single player looking for a team then we can point you in the right direction), then get in touch with our League Secretary Simon Curtis on the contacts below and we will put you down to play.  Our Division One is competitive and Division Two is slightly more social but there is a standard of quizzing for everybody and everybody has a great Monday night out.

The FTQL plays on Mondays at 8.30pm, matches last about an hour to an hour and a half and you will have between 18 and 21 league games and at least three cup matches.  We start at the end of September and run to the end of May/beginning of June.  We have two very popular finals nights and a charity night season opener. Our 2015 Annual General Meeting is set to take place at the RAFA Vulcan Club in Pontefract on Monday 7 September 2015 starting at 8.30pm.
